It is located on gentle slopes, the vines are planted in closed walls separated by small walls, This Grand Cru appellation area has the particularity of being also composed of several climates, and thus to offer reds with distinct personalities.

In order to strive for a certain homogeneity of these appellation wines, producers have the need to blend them. It is therefore not currently possible to determine a specific typicality or to identify the specificities of each clos. What brings them together, however, is their intense raspberry-red to deep garnet color, the sweetness of their floral bouquet with spring notes with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, wild mint, even truffle.
